Session Description
Getting consumers more involved in their healthcare decision means a redesign of health IT approaches. A national framework is discussed in terms of how the nexus of technology, business and policy can come together to identify opportunities in information sharing and interoperability, role of IT in public health responses, addressing equity and social determinants of health, and expanding the role of health information exchanges.
